One of the best ways to prevent nappy rash is to make sure that the tender skin of your baby does not come into contact with nappy rash creating chemicals. There are a number of substances that cause nappy rash, some produced by the baby and some contained within anything that might touch the baby. Dealing with nappy rash once it has occurred should always be secondary to preventing nappy rash, and a really good barrier cream is a fantastic way to ensure that nappy rash does not occur in the first place. Boudreaux's Butt Paste is a traditional and very well trusted nappy rash barrier cream.
Isn't it great to find something that has grown famous and popular through word of mouth, the experiences of real people using Butt Paste and loving it. 'Butt', Butt Paste is not only for protecting babies from nappy rash, all sorts of people use Butt Paste for all sorts of reasons: from sportsmen to fishermen. Indeed Lance Armstrong is a famous Butt Paste users, as is Brad Pitt (for his kids who had terrible nappy rash!). We're certain you'll love Boudreaux's Butt Paste. Buy some now and we'll ship some Boudreaux's Butt Paste from our UK office to your home.

Nappy rash affects many children, not just babies.
There are a myriad of causes.
Every circumstance is different, some children have nappy rash throughout their childhood.
Yes, it certainly helps to do this, air the babies bottom too.
One hasn't been found yet but there are many nappy rash products out there.
Yes it does, avoid acidic or spicy foods, alkaline foods such as green vegetables tend to help the skin heal more quickly.
No, cleanliness doesn't prevent it but avoiding leaving a baby's bottom soiled really helps - clean him/her as soon as you can.
Absolutely, but it's rarely called 'nappy rash', often it'll be diagnosed as a 'bed sore', 'saddle sore' etc. Essentially the same, but different.
Most babies will get it during their first year or two.
It usually happens around the bottom, the thighs and genital areas although it can sometime extend down the leg.
Lengthy contact with urine and faeces is the biggest cause - bacterial growth can occur and often this is a result of exposure to the skin of 'good bacteria' that may have started life inside the baby's body.
Yeast grows in warm and damp environments and often is already existent in the skin, a cloth nappy or in the baby's environment. It is simply dormant until it finds the 'perfect' living environment of a damp nappy.
Certainly these drugs kill 'good bacteria' that do keep yeast at bay, an anti fungal cream may help here.
